A fanfare band like no other!
The Fanfarenzug Ottheinrich currently has 81 active members, consisting of flag-wavers with tossing and field banners, three-part Landsknecht drummers, and four-part fanfare trumpeters. Our typical performance strength is around 40 members. Our costumes are Landsknecht garments, made according to original patterns from the time of Count Palatine Ottheinrich around 1504. We can proudly say that our appearance is unique among fanfare bands. We are not monochrome, but colorful, staying true to the image of a "Landsknechtshaufen." Our instruments are natural tone instruments without valves or resonance. We exclusively play fanfare pieces; melodies from past and present pop and rock history are foreign to us.
